Boosting Your Oxygen Concentrator’s Output to Boost Profits
There are many oxygen concentrator manufacturers, but not all oxygen concentrators are created equally! All 10 liter machine will give you 10 liters of oxygen at 95% purity. The same holds true for a 5 liter machine giving you 5 liters of oxygen at 95% purity. The standard practice of an oxygen bar provider is to give the customer 2.5 liters of oxygen at a 90% purity level or higher. Airheads manufactures their oxygen concentrators to give you the capability of “boosting” your oxygen flow for short periods of time (up to a half an hour) without any major strain on the machine! Just a few counter-clockwise turns on the black “flow knob” of the oxygen concentrator will “boost” the flow up to 50%. This “boost” does not come without a small price to pay. Simple physics dictate that if you increase the flow of oxygen beyond the factory settings, the increase of flow will directly affect the oxygen percentage. When you “boost” the oxygen concentrator, it has to work harder. The oxygen percentage will eventually drop down and level off into the low 80% range. You do not want to run the oxygen concentrator continually for an extended period of time this way, however, when you’re at an event and there’s a crowd of people waiting for their turn to use the oxygen bar, the question is: Are they going to be concerned about a few percentage points of oxygen? Are they going to notice any difference? Are they going to feel any different? The answers are a resounding NO!
